PHASE 1
Junior Ranks (NE - MC)
Beginning in phase 1, you will hold the rank of New Entry (NE), Ordinary Cadet (OC), or Able Cadet (AC). In this phase of your cadet career you will be taught the basics of being a sea cadet. You'll learn about the aims of the cadet movement, ranks, sea cadet history, naval history, seamanship, range, and more! You are promoted to OC once you've been sworn in and then you are promoted to AC once you've compled 6 months of training as an OC.
